Library Setup

AuthorIT stores all content in a database, referred to as a library. A considerable proportion of the work and complexity involved in configuring AuthorIT for your particular requirements lies in setting up aspects of the library, including folders for organising content, securities to control user access and rights, vital internal object templates and text styles.

After discussing your requirements, our consultants can configure all aspects of the library, providing you with the ability to commence productive work immediately, within an environment tailored specifically for your organisation.

From day one, you will be able to create and publish finished documentation to your organisations standards without having to grapple with the complexities of configuration. You receive the configured library, complete with full documentation describing the custom elements and their intended functions. Generally, an on-site hand-over meeting is included in the project, during which our consultant will demonstrate the library and answer any queries that you may have.

When time allows, and when you have experience of working with the system to inform your decisions, you can acquire the knowledge to make any required adjustments to the initial setup and take over full control of system maintenance.
