How does AuthorIT work?

All the content your organisation creates is stored in your database. The content is not stored as documents, but as reusable chunks of information. These chunks are then pulled together to create publishable documents.

This means that any information within your organisation can be reused in an unlimited number of documents without ever having to be retyped. And when this content is updated, you don't need to change it in every location - one change simply cascades throughout your entire organisation. Imagine changing your company contact details, for example. Normally you would be required to find every document containing the contact details and change them. This has huge cost implications. Using AuthorIT, you'd simply change the contact details in one location and all documents using them would instantly and consistently be updated.
