We obtain an initial introduction to the product or service from you, together with a basic statement of what document(s) you require. We then spend some time carrying out our own investigation to define the documentation requirement and provide a detailed synopsis specifying the proposed structure and content down to individual topic level. We will also provide quotations of costs and timescales for production by PDA.

Having agreed a functional specification for the document, we can design all aspects of page layout, typography, illustration, etc. If required, we will provide samples of a number of possible designs for selection.

We assign one or more experienced and suitably-qualified author(s), backed by an editor, to write the necessary text. Material is usually supplied in stages for preliminary assessment and vetting, followed by the required number of complete, formatted drafts prior to the final copy.

We can provide all forms of supporting illustration including:

• computer-drawn line illustration.
• 2-D and 3-D graphics.
• conventional and digital photography.
• Print preparation and purchase.

We can prepare and supply the document files ready for output to various forms of print facility. Where required, we can also arrange for printing and shipment of final copies.
